Burn your video footage to DVD with just the touch of a button using Sony's DVDirect Express VRD-P1 DVD burner. Simply connect the burner to your compatible Handycam, via the USB, and press record. The burner gives you the option to record all the footage on your camera or only the video captured since the last time you burned. The unit also provides the option to create movie chapters.

There's no need for an external power source with the VRD-P1, because it runs off the camcorder's USB bus power. In addition, you can play your footage back on a TV, using the DVDirect Express, when the camera is connected. This easy to use unit is made specifically for 2009 standard definition flash memory and HDD Sony Handycams and records to DVD-R and DVD+R disks. It will also be compatible with all future Sony Handycams that feature a USB host function.
